This is a beta, so expect rough edges. New versions arrive through the app, and your notes are plain Markdown files, so nothing is locked in.

Never miss a change
Slides, diagrams and pages the presenter scrolls through are saved at full resolution once they stop moving. You don't have to press anything.
Get every link the presenter showed
URLs, QR codes and email addresses that appear on screen are collected for you, each one shown next to the slide it came from. You never have to interrupt and ask.
Read back what was said
Choose to include audio and the meeting is transcribed on your Mac, with speakers told apart Experimental. No bot joins your call, and the recording is deleted once it has been transcribed.
Copy text and code off any slide
Select and paste text from a captured screen. Commands and code come out exactly as they were written, instead of being auto-corrected into something that no longer works.
Search slides, not just what you typed
Words that only ever appeared on a screenshot still show up in search, so you can find a meeting by something the presenter put on screen.
Phone photos go into the meeting
Photograph a whiteboard with your phone and it lands with that meeting's slides, ready to drop into your note — not in your camera roll next to your holiday pictures.
Your notes are just Markdown files
Plain files in a folder you choose, with the images beside them. Open them in Obsidian, keep them in git, or read them in ten years.

Uninstalling
Drag MemoFomo to the Trash. Its AI models stay behind, so to free about 6 GB, delete these two folders too (in Finder, Go ▸ Go to Folder… and paste each one):
~/Library/Application Support/MemoFomo~/Library/Application Support/FluidAudio
Your notes are ordinary files in the folder you chose (Documents/MemoFomo unless you picked another) and stay where they are.
